More on The O’Reilly Factor

This week the Republican presumptive nominee’s interview with Bill O’Reilly was aired (May 8th in 2 segments and on May 9th in 1 segment) on the Fox News Channels “The O’Reilly Factor”.

I haven’t seen any posts on the web talking about this interview (maybe because it isn’t controversial) but I feel that it is important to present all sides so you can make informed decisions on who to vote for.

I have made no secret of the fact that I have issues with John McCain. I have known him for a long time from when I was in Arizona. He is strong headed and it is hard to sway him on any issue. A lot of the time he is proven to be right on issues, like the war strategy disagreements with Donald Rumsfeld. I have also found through the years that he will readily admit when he is wrong on an issue when the proof is there. The main thing that I will argue on his behalf is about his integrity.

The papers and press over the years have tried to throw dirt at him but it would never stick. I strongly believe that his integrity is above reproach. This is something that may be lacking from the Democrats running for their party’s nomination.

I think any conservative watching these videos will be able to identify the areas of disagreement.

It is my opinion John McCain is the better choice.

John McCain will be strong on the uncontrolled spending and earmarks, national defense, foreign policy and the rule of law.

We just need him to be stronger on domestic, energy and immigration policy.
