I don’t know how many of you noticed but since the President announced this Executive Order the futures market for Sweet Light Crude Oil delivered in August dropped by $11.00 per barrel. The average price of gasoline is now over $4.00 per gallon and many Americans can’t afford to take their vacations. This drop will start to reduce our costs at the pump.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat leadership don’t want to take any action on this issue until after the elections. The President has forced their hand because this Congressional Ban expires on September 30^th and his order will take effect immediately upon the expiration unless Congress extends this ban. This is what the current leadership wants to do but they know this is not the position WE want them to take. It will be devastating to them in November if they are forced to show the public exactly where they stand. It is because of their inaction on this subject that a new Gallup Poll shows that Congress’ Approval and Disapproval Ratings are at the worst levels in the history of our country

If Congress approves this order the price of oil will drop drastically further, which will lower the price we are paying at the pump and what it will cost us to heat our homes this winter.
